INTRODUCTION T he 10th International Prostate Cancer Update was held in Vail, Colo, February 2-6, 2000. As in all the previous meetings, this was an outstanding opportunity for clinicians from a variety of disciplines to learn the state of the art of prostate cancer, covering the whole range of the disease. An outstanding international faculty reported on cutting-edge advances. More important: they put into clinical perspective their views of where we are in the new millennium in the management of this most ubiquitous of neoplasms. Dr E. David Crawford, as usual, organized a meeting that combined excellent science with wonderful social and recreational opportunities. I know all the participants were delighted with the meeting and look forward to the 11th International Prostate Cancer Update, which is scheduled for January 31-February 4, 2001, in Vail. Because of the important information presented at the meeting, we have again elected to publish a supplement to Reviews in Urology. Through a generous, unrestricted educational grant from Amgen, Inc, we are pleased to provide this supplement for our readers. Dr Michael K. Brawer 4 REVIEWS IN UROLOGY Supplement
